Bills |
It
won't take you long, once you start talking to Dr.
Bills, to realize that she "...isn't from around
here..." Actually, she was born in Detroit, spent
a few years in St. Paul, Minnesota, then moved to
Chicago for 8 years, then on to Omaha where she finished
high school and went to college at Creighton University
(BA in English). By this time, her parents had moved
to St. Joseph, Missouri, so Dr. Bills went to Dental
school in Kansas City, Missouri (DDS, UMKC). After graduation,
Dr. Bills went to graduate school at UNC Chapel Hill
(Certificate in Endodontics, UNC). She has been in practice
since 1985.

She and her husband Chris celebrated their
25th wedding anniversary in 2006. They have 2 sons,
Brady who is in college at NC State, and their youngest, Carson, is now attending Loyola University in Chicago. The Bills family has been involved with Boy Scouts for many years. Dr. Bills is proud to say that both of her sons are Eagle Scouts from Troop #213, sponsored by the Kirk of Kildaire. She has also taught
Bible study at both St. Andrews and St. Michael's.
She likes to read, garden, and sew, but her latest interest
is Cowboy action shooting! She and her husband enjoy dressing
up in period clothing, shooting reproduction, but historically
accurate pistols, rifles, and shotguns, and they are working
on their ability to shoot targets with both speed and accuracy.
Dr. Bills won First Place Lady Duelist at the Virginia State
championship, while her husband was First Place in Men's
B-Western. She was chosen the Best-Dressed Lady shooter
at the NC, SC, VA and the South east Regional match in Atlanta, Georgia.

LOCAL DENTIST WINS DANCE CONTEST
Dr. Jeri Bills, a Cary dentist who specializes in root canals, came back with more than a tan from her Caribbean Christmas cruise. She won the equivalent of the “Dancing with the stars” award on the Celebrity Constellation for the holiday cruise.
